Jawa has launched the latest addition to its lineup, the Jawa 42 Bobber Red Sheen, in India. The bike offers an exciting price of Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom). This new variant joins the Black Mirror edition, positioning itself as the top-of-the-line model in the company’s portfolio.



Jawa unveiled the Jawa 42 Bobber Red Sheen at the All You Can Street Festival (AYCS) in Mumbai. It follows the introduction of two alloy-wheel variants to the 42 Bobber lineup. Therefore, cementing its status as one of Jawa’s top-selling motorcycles. The Red Sheen variant stands out with a chrome-finished fuel tank, a striking red stripe, and a prominent ‘Jawa’ logo at the center.


As the premium variant, the Jawa 42 Bobber Red Sheen comes equipped with diamond-cut alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless tyres. Ashish Singh Joshi, CEO of Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, expressed his enthusiasm about the launch, stating, “The Jawa 42 Bobber has been a phenomenal success, and we’re thrilled to expand the family with the introduction of the Red Sheen. This head-turning variant injects a shot of vibrant energy into the bobber segment, catering to a new generation of riders who crave a motorcycle that reflects their individuality.”


The Jawa 42 Bobber Red Sheen retains the same mechanical specifications as its predecessors. The engine powers the bike with a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, delivering 29.4bhp and 30Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, featuring an assist and slipper clutch for smoother gear transitions.


The Jawa 42 Bobber Red Sheen enhances rider comfort with a seven-step preload adjustable rear mono-shock and a two-step adjustable seat. It also includes a USB charging port, a digital console, and all-LED lighting. Prioritizing safety, the bike features disc brakes on both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).
