KTM has launched the much-anticipated 890 Adventure R in India for ₹15.80 lakh ex-showroom. ENGINE AND PERFORMANCE
The KTM 890 Adventure R houses an 889cc parallel-twin engine, also used in the KTM 890 Duke R. While slightly detuned compared to the Duke R’s 121 bhp, the 890 Adventure R generates a solid 103.2 bhp and 100 Nm of torque, perfectly tailored for adventure riding. The six-speed gearbox, combined with a slipper clutch and quickshifter, ensures smooth, controlled gear transitions in all conditions, whether scaling off-road trails or cruising highways.
INSPIRED DESIGN
Inspiration for the 890 Adventure R drew in from KTM’s Dakar-winning 450 Rally. The signature orange and white paintwork is unmistakably KTM.
